**Payroll Officer, SOCOTEC, Competitive salary, Burton Upon Trent
**To support our ambitious growth plans we have a great opportunity to join our Central Services teams here at SOCOTEC UK. With over 2000 UK employees our Central Services functions are key to ensuring smooth and efficient operations. Based in Burton Upon Trent, working across the specialisms in HR, Marketing, Finance and IT we pride ourselves of partnering and support our operational divisions to deliver a world class service to our customers.

Here at SOCOTEC we understand that we deliver excellence to our customers by having the very best people, to be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate:

  • _ A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in payroll processing within a similar sized organisation, with a comprehensive understanding of UK payroll legislation, regulations, and best practices. _
- _Meticulous attention to detail and strong numerical aptitude to ensure accuracy in processing payroll data and resolving discrepancies. _
- _Strong problem-solving skills in order to think creatively and find solutions. _
- _Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with HR, Finance, and other departments, as well as to address payroll-related queries and issues from employees. _
- _Ability to work effectively under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changes in the payroll landscape while ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and internal policies._
