    Job Description:

    We are seeking an experienced Desktop Support Engineer to join our team at DXC. This is a full-time permanent position working 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday between the hours of 07:00 - 19:00.

    This role offers access to a large library of training courses and accreditations to enhance your skills and development. Additionally, we provide an excellent benefits package including a personal pension plan, private medical cover, life insurance, and flexible holiday options.

    To be successful in this role, you must hold or be able to obtain SC Security Clearance. Due to the nature of our client's work, we can only progress applications from British nationals.

    This role is primarily site-based at Frimley but may involve supporting other sites such as Guildford. Travel to Guildford will be paid and service/absence driven.

    Main Responsibilities:

    This role entails conducting security audits on all devices holding data on the network by scanning and reporting. You will also perform IMACs (Installations, Moves, Additions, and Changes), break-fix of managed devices, hands and eyes support for visually verifying device state, desktop support, asset management, and stock management.

    Key Requirements:

    The ideal candidate will have UK GOV Security Clearance at SC level, a full clean UK driving license, proven troubleshooting skills, previous experience in a similar ITIL environment, and knowledge of PC/Desktop support, Microsoft Windows XP/7/10 onwards, and HP Workstations, Desktops, and Laptops. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail are essential.
