So what's your next change?


We are looking for a water management engineer to work with site Facilities teams at the commercial Airbus estates, based at the Broughton site in North Wales however supporting all UK sites.

There will also be the opportunity to interface and work across all the other UK sites and in some areas network with your equivalent transnational peers to ensure best practices and consistent service levels.


Reporting directly to the Energy Manager UK you will be responsible for providing specialist water service management advice to the wider Facilities Management and Real Estate, project teams and hard services (maintenance) provider to ensure compliance with current legislation and best practices.

You will also be responsible for the development of specifications for tendering of services. equipment and new facilities to ensure they meet the capability, quality and cost requirements of the business.


Airbus has strong sustainability objectives of which Facilities Management and Real Estate have a key role in ensuring the infrastructure, controls and objectives are supported.


HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM

  • Continuous review of all water data across the network and sites, identifying trends and potential areas for improvement
  • Work with FMRE site services teams to identify new technologies and infrastructure improvements
  • Support the deployment of company water objectives and targets, ensure robust cascade and clear routes to targets Airbus Sustainability objectives
  • Assist in the general preparation for Opex and Capex budgets, collating information, data and costs to support the capital investment cases
  • Ensure company compliance and Statutory compliance through audits, including carrying out contractor audits in line with Airbus Contractor Management requirements, Interpreting Policy, legislation, regulations and national codes of practices
  • Support the delivery of the Capital Investment projects within the scope of water responsibility from request to handover, including feasibility options appraisal, detailed design, and tender, health and safety

ABOUT YOU

  • Water Sector Experience
  • Experience in working on large developed sites
  • Understanding of water systems and networks
  • Knowledge of methods to reduce water consumption (closed loop systems, rainwater and greywater harvesting etc.)
  • Perform data analysis; regressions, baseload, quality etc.
  • Provide easytounderstand insights and highlight / correct failures or out of condition performance.
  • Ability to develop long term forecasts with clear assumptions to ensure a robust plan.
