Safeguarding
- Responsible for the safeguarding of students who are under their immediate care, following relevant school policies, reporting concerns promptly (including Health and Safety).
- Safeguarding the mental health and wellbeing of students and staff
Main Responsibilities
Recruitment at Post 16
- Organising the paperwork needed for Year 11 Transition day and liaising with Heads of Faculty
- Organising interviews
- Corresponding with external applicants, organising interviews and requesting references from their current schools;
Enrolment and Induction
- Compiling and updating a variety of documents necessary for enrolment and induction;
Student monitoring and support
- Completing first day calls for Post 16 students and updating registers where necessary
- Ensuring that all registers are completed throughout the day and chasing teachers if needed
- Monitoring attendance of post 16 students daily, liaising with students/parents/teachers where necessary;
- Providing weekly attendance information to AHT Post 16 regarding attendance, meeting with students where attendance is a concern and referring persistent concerns to SSM/SHT;
- Monitoring punctuality of all students and organising Supervised Study session for persistent lateness
- Collating information from teachers for students who are causing concern;
- Dealing with phone queries
- Organising parent meetings
- Making changes or additions required on school website for sixth form;
- Assisting with the organisation and coordination of specified and occasional sixth form activities and events as directed
- Administrating post 16 parents consultation evening including calling difficult to reach parents.
- Completing the September Guarantee form with leavers details as directed by the Local Authorty;
- Working hours Monday-Friday 09:0014:00
Job Types:

Education:
- GCSE or equivalent (required)
