Interested in embracing a challenge for 2023? IPS are looking to add to its business and marketing team as it grows for the New Year offering an exciting new role within the team for a Trainee Engagement Officer.
This job requires no experience as training and support will be given that would enable the suitable applicant to naturally progress to a competent Engagement Officer throughout the induction period.
We are looking for someone that is willing to be readily adaptable to change and have a keen interest in marketing and business working to shadow our experienced BD Manager and Team that have undergone a recent restructure and are embracing new systems and processes to reach our target of further growth in 2023.
This is an exciting time for the business and the right person will work within the team to promote apprenticeships to both employers and school leavers meaning that you would have the potential to engage with a number of people daily to encourage them to consider apprenticeship vacancies to offer to those wishing to commence with apprenticeships.

Car with Full Driver's License
Training offered will allow for plenty of shadowing with our experienced team of engagement officers and will allow the opportunity to see how they interact with employers in a number of situations that you would then be able to eventually step into.
The opportunity of networking and building client bases is a must and so you will also see how this is fulfilled in order to build on your own future client bases too.
With successful training, there is an opportunity for you to achieve a related qualification should you wish to after your probationary period in keeping with our ethos of Investing in our staff complimenting our Investors in People Gold accreditation.
Tasks will include:
Building a pipeline of potential employers
Collating and cleansing of data
Presenting of information to employers and schools
Project managing own projects/campaigns
Shadowing colleagues within the department and beyond to gain a feel for the business
Engaging with employers and potential apprentices via telephone
General admin tasks that come as part of the role
Remote Working
With the world of remote work evolving, there will also be opportunity to build knowledge and skills of the role enabling an option of working from home to promote good balance to the role.
Salary
This role is full time Monday to Friday 08:30 to 17: hrs per week) and comes with a starting salary of £21,000.
This salary will be reviewed in line with your development and success within the role and so there is every opportunity to improve on this salary after month 6 and month 12 of your first year in employment with us where you can expect a salary increase that could eventually reach £24,000.
Qualifications Required:
Suitable applicants should have achieved GCSE A-C or equivalent qualifications in English, mathematics and ICT.
