Job Summary


This newly created position to elevate Trustmarque's approach to corporate social responsibility by putting colleague and end-user skills, DEI, and wellbeing at the heart of all we do.

The CSR business partner will join the Performance, Development and Responsible Business team, a pillar of the People team.


Accountabilities and main responsibilities

  • Partner with our customers' social value and CSR leads to develop and deliver online, and occasional facetoface, workshops that improve the skills and capabilities of local communities. Workshops are often delivered to NEET people and young people from disadvantaged community groups
  • Liaise with schools, colleges, community groups, and charities to promote careers in technology and aid in jobready learning
  • Drive internal and external activity such as curating and delivering workshops, events, and learning content that champions diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Join our 'Work and Wellbeing' team to ensure colleagues receive adequate levels of mental and social wellbeing guidance and support
  • Support work winning by collaborating with the Trustmarque sales and bid teams to draft tenders that include social value objectives that will create positive change in the communities that we serve
  • Coordinate corporate volunteering activities to encourage colleagues to utilise their two volunteering days per annum
  • Report, measure and manage internal and external social value KPIs using internal processes and the TOMS social value portal
  • Work with the risk and compliance team and the marketing team to ensure we are tracking environmental and social value outcomes and championing our successes
This role reports to the Head of Performance, Development and Responsible Business.

There will also be the opportunity for this person to develop their skills more broadly by supporting colleague learning, such as:


  • Cocreating, delivering, and facilitating blended learning that supports CSR and wider responsible business objectives
  • Ensuring we have engaging eLearning content than spans DEI and wellbeing
  • Supporting our employee engagement and wellbeing surveys; launching surveys, facilitating employee forums, analysing quantitative and qualitative data, sharing insights, and making recommendations for change

Who we're looking for:


  • A qualification in CSR, community investment, peer working, learning and development, or equivalent professional experience in social value/ community engagement is required
  • Someone who is friendly, collaborative, and can build trusting relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Sound project management/ prioritisation skills
  • Confident in both written and spoken communication with the ability to present to (primarily online) audiences
Someone who is happy to work remotely, with occasional travel to customer locations or Trustmarque offices that are based in York and London
