One of the largest public sector organisations based in London are looking to recruit an Inclusive Leadership Manager to join their growing team. The role is for an initial 3-month contract with a view to extend if all goes well. The role is fulltime, Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week with hybrid work available.

Pay rate:
£26.73 per hour PAYE or £35.16 per hour Umbrella


Job Purpose:

A recent report has highlighted the need for inclusive leadership within the organization that can provide the following:

  • Comprehensive training in understanding discrimination, recognising discrimination, and taking management action
  • A look at Inclusive Leadership Toolkit to define acceptable and unacceptable behaviour in terms of discrimination, and inclusion
  • An appreciation of the lived experience of disadvantaged groups
  • Review of policies and business processes that readily support local management action and formal action
  • Implement space for leaders to gain a common agreement and understanding of what is acceptable and how they will support each other in holding the line
  • Set senior leadership visibility and position taken that will empower their leaders to hold their staff to account
  • Implement processes that support senior leaders to demonstrate full policy compliance, in order to set the standard and build trust

Principal Accountabilities:

To support Inclusive Leadership development and contribute to the carrying out of:

  • Leadership training and gap analysis
  • Defining Inclusive Leadership Standards and Behaviours
  • Business process review and change,
  • Policy review and revision,
  • The development of inclusive leadership standards/behaviours and competences to frame the rollout of a comprehensive leadership programme in line with the Organisation Learning (OLM) requirements,
  • Commissioning and cocreating an Inclusive Leadership Toolkit
  • The development of an Inclusive Leadership Academy, including building professional portfolios
  • Communication Plan and activities to define the key messaging and campaigns in support of implementation
  • Other inclusive leadership deliverables
