About The Role:
Falmouth University's Games Academy has an exciting opportunity for a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Game Programming to join its dynamic teaching team.

This role involves working closely with students to help them make games using the Unreal Engine across one-on-one tutorials, small group supervisions, critiques, large lectures and workshops, and expo events.
Potential modules could include:
- 'Advanced Game Programming'
- 'Digital Game Technology'
- 'Development Practice'
- 'Graphics & Simulations'

We leverage transdisciplinary perspectives-a fusion of industrial and academic lenses-to explore new modes of design and innovation.About You:
You will be comfortable supervising diverse teams formed of students from many different disciplines including art, animation, audio, design, programming, and writing, to help them make games using industry-standard tools and practices in a studio environment.
You will be working closely with students to help them make games using Unreal across one-on-one tutorials, small group supervisions, critiques, large lectures and workshops, and expo events.
- Advanced knowledge of game programming and digital game technologies
- Experience working in recent versions of Unreal Engine
- An understanding of how computer science and mathematics are applied to game development
- Demonstrable commitment to research and innovation in a digital games technology context or a closely related context
- Good connections with industry and/or research groups
