HCM Product Specialist

The HCM Product Specialist serves as an overlay sales role, directly collaborating with the UK and some EMEA Field Sales teams. This position focuses on supporting, educating, and ensuring the success of the broader HCM portfolio. The HCM Product Specialist holds the autonomy to craft the message, activities, and execution of the go-to-market strategy for the HCM offering. This role is at a senior level, reporting directly to the lead for Global Solutions, with a dotted line relationship to the UK Division Vice President.

Besides working closely with the Field Sales organization, the HCM Product Specialist will also collaborate with various departments such as Product, Marketing, Partner Management, and Local & Global ExCom. Performance will be evaluated based on the success of HCM Sales from the relevant Field Sales team.

Experience and Education

Minimum 5 years+ (ideally 8 years+) of experience in selling Enterprise (£50k+ ARR) HR or HCM Software or Services, or supporting these deals as an Overlay Product Specialist.
Demonstrated senior-level experience in strategy design and ownership.
Experience with multimillion £/$ annual quotas.
Expertise in the HR/HCM industry.
Ideally, experience in driving deals in both the UK and EMEA.
Degree in a relevant area (e.g., Business, Marketing) is advantageous but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

Implement the product sales strategy for the relevant Field Sales teams to achieve their iHCM HR and Talent Sales Plans.
Support sales in designated geographic areas to meet assigned HCM sales quotas.
Educate and inspire sales teams to embrace the wider HCM and Talent Landscape.
Act as the product liaison to Marketing, ensuring the execution of marketing programs and assisting in sales messaging deployment.
Assist in product sales and Business Consultancy education and training coordination for HR and Talent solutions.
Share industry knowledge within the designated area of responsibility.
Provide market information on competitors' efforts, pricing, and sales trends.
Facilitate communication between sales management and other ADP groups.
Engage channel partners in the sales process through periodic reviews focused on activity standards, referral activity, and campaigns.
Collaborate closely with Leads on strategy and execution.
Regularly update relevant Country and Global Solution Leads on progress, KPIs, and key actions.
