Description

General Administration department strategy is to deliver excellent general administrative services to the whole bank covering different functions including project management, facilities, logistic and events, admin and central filing, systems, commercial property and security operations, residential and commercial property management.

As an Assistant-Security Operations and Risk Management you will be responsible to support the Security Operations and Risk team on a daily basis while also providing cover when needed.

This is a full time permanent position.


Key responsibilities

  • Ensure that security attestations for secure areas are completed in time
  • Support the Banks security management team if an incident arises
  • Responsible for assisting with the management of security credentials for all staff that have legitimate access to Bank of China spaces
  • Support the printing and distribution of new joiner security passes
  • Responsible for the coordination of the General Administration risk management reporting to other departments
  • Manage the escalation process for security related faults with our electronic security vendors
  • Provide weekly reports based on security systems data
  • Handle and provide confidential reports for various stakeholders within the bank
  • Support the security operations and risk manager with risk assessments (including external events) and security working groups
  • Work with the banks 1LOD's to ensure risks and controls are being managed and monitored effectively
  • Assist with security related projects and initiatives and ensure that specifications, timescales and budgets met
  • Engagement with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:


  • Ability to form excellent relationships within the department and the wider organisation
  • Industry qualification (or willingness to achieve, e.g. PSP, CPP or APP)
  • Ability to travel to regional branches as and when required
  • Understanding of physical security systems and standards
  • Understanding of the 3LOD's risk management framework
  • Have an understanding of Sanctions policy and AML Policy
  • Technically proficient in IT along with general computer literacy and working with large data sets
  • Excellent administration skills
  • Team player
