Do you want a new and exciting challenge?

A unique opportunity has arisen for an experienced Band 5 Nurse to further develop their skills and knowledge in specialist palliative care and leadership.

This role provides excellent career development for an aspiring Team / Ward Manager.

We currently have three nursing teams on the 31 bedded Inpatient Ward and we are looking to appoint an experienced registered adult nurse to lead and support one of the nursing teams, ensuring the delivery of high quality, holistic specialist palliative care to our patients and their families.

You will need as a minimum:

Registered Adult Nurse with current NMC registration
Significant post registration experience
Proven palliative / cancer care experience
Excellent interpersonal skills
Evidence of ongoing professional development
Be competent in taking charge of the inpatient ward in the absence of the Ward Manager
