Interim Pastoral Care Lead

Location:
West Midlands

Duration: 6 Month Contract then permanent

Role Focus:
Pastoral and EHCP

Type:
Interim to Permanent

Remuneration:
Competitive Day Rate

We are seeking a dedicated Interim Pastoral Care Lead to join a special school in the West Midlands to lead on EHCP's and pastoral.

Role Overview:

You will play a crucial role in shaping and implementing each students needs on their EHCP plan and ensuring that they are met.

Also, you will be Deputy Safeguarding Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

To liaise closely with school staff to ensure that everyone understands and supports the strategies being used by the pastoral lead to developing pupils' skills for learning and learning behaviour
To contribute to the identification of barriers to learning for individual children and provide them with a range of strategies for overcoming barriers
To work closely with the SLT and External agencies if needed
Record keeping of how the schools are meeting the needs on the EHCP Plans for each student
Complete Reviews of the EHCP
Deputy Safeguarding Officer
