SMC Pneumatics is based in Milton Keynes, with a well-established 14-acre site.

UK customers benefit from quicker delivery and customised product options where required because many SMC products are finished or assembled by hand in the Milton Keynes facility.

The Role:

We are looking for a driven salesperson to join our Channel Development Team; delivering SMC's Corporate user strategy of developing OEM and MRO accounts.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Produce, implement and maintain plans for specific user accounts to achieve sales budgets.
  • Increase SMC market share within targeted MRO and OEM accounts.
  • Develop strong working relationships with key channel partners to support existing business.
  • Working with selected Channel Partners, identify and develop new business.
  • Using sales reports analyse user trends to deliver growth.
  • Identify and document value added reports at strategic targeted accounts.
  • Promote Simple, Engineered and Configured Special products.
  • Actively engage with OEE and MTTF discussions with key personnel.
  • Develop and maintain contact with all key personnel at all levels within strategic accounts.

Skills and Experience:

Proven Sales Experience
Industry/Sales Experience
Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
Demonstrated ability to communicate and influence, influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the business
