Absolute Recruit are delighted to be supporting a renowned IT Managed Service provider who support the Education Sector. We are currently searching for a 2nd/3rd Line Engineer to take on a field based role, supporting approx. 6 sites in Harlow. The right 2nd/3rdLine Engineer must be able to commute to Harlow on a daily basis. Mileage is covered at 25p/mile.

This will be a customer facing role and therefor the 2nd/3rd Line Engineer must be comfortable in front of clients and ideally had client facing experience.

This might be through a school or IT Managed Service Provider.

The 2nd/3rd Line Engineer will have experience supporting Virtual and Physical Servers and Networks along with End User Computer Support.

You will also be involved in supporting school hardware which may include Printers, AV, Touchscreens and Projectors.
To be a successful 2nd/3rd Line Engineer within the MSP, you will need to have technical capabilities in the following areas:

Hyper-V or VMware experience
Windows Server and Desktop OS's

Office 36

Active Directory and experience of creating Group Policy
Hardware Troubleshooting: Laptops, Desktops, Printers, Scanner, Projectors and AV
Education experience is highly desirable
