Opportunity Summary


Hampshire Cultural Trust is seeking two enthusiastic "Volunteer Project Coordinators" to support the Volunteer Programme Manager (VPM) in the successful rollout and delivery of a new Volunteer Management System called Better Impact.

In this volunteering opportunity you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth implementation of the system, providing administrative, communication, training delivery and project coordination support to the rollout of a live People Management System.


Beyond the systems implementation you will also be part of a wider £100,000 National Lottery funded innovation project designed to improve volunteering across the charity sector.


A large part of this opportunity is to support volunteers and teams which will often be in person within our venues.

Travel (expenses paid) will be a key part of the role.


What you could be doing:


  • Assist in organising and maintaining project documentation including databases.
  • Support communication efforts to keep stakeholders informed about the People Management System rollout, These could be internal teams, volunteers, and external partner
  • Assist in addressing queries and concerns related to the project.
  • Aid in organising and delivering training sessions for staff and volunteers on using the Better Impact system, providing support where needed.
  • Gather feedback on training sessions and assist in refining training materials.
  • Collaborate with the VPM to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Provide regular updates on project progress.

Skills and Experience

What you need:

  • Good organisational and administrative skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently when required.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and data entry.
  • Ability to travel to various Hampshire Cultural sites (expenses will be paid).
