The opportunity:
Cyber crime is on the increase, posing threats to organisations, governments and individuals the world over.
It makes constant vigilance a necessity for members of our Cyber Security team, as it works to not only stay out in front of new threats but also raise awareness of current cyber security issues across Scottish Enterprise.
By joining the team, you'll help co-ordinate and deliver mandatory cyber security training delivery - giving you a real understanding of information and cyber security from both a business and a technical perspective.
The role:
We'll look to you to manage this vital training for all Scottish Enterprise staff, ensure compliance across our organisation.
You'll create awareness materials, update our monthly cyber security blog and work with stakeholders on areas where cyber security awareness could be improved.
You'll also be called to help with live security incidents from beginning to end, as you work with our operational security team.
Who we're looking for:
Strong communication and presentation skills are a must in this role - as well as an ability to explain technical concepts in a way that's clear and understandable.
You'll be comfortable working on your own and within a dynamic team environment, and you'll ideally have a real passion for cyber security and be keen to make a positive impact by educating others.
