About the team
The Global Finance Advisory CoE sits in our Global Consulting Capabilities - Corporate Services group.

Our Global Finance Advisory CoE is focused on enabling growth and capability building across the following areas - thought leadership, Future of Finance, Connected/EPM, Powered/TOM, Trusted/ESG, learning, knowledge management, and community development.


Role summary

  • Drive and contribute to EPM thought leadership and assets
  • Develop Connected/ESG/EPM value proposition as enabling capability
  • Develop/innovate priority EPM value driver trees, including financial and nonfinancial metrics
  • Develop/innovate EPM vendor assessment
  • Develop/innovate EPM/Plan to Perform Powered TOM assets (liaise with Powered/TOM Lead)
  • Drive integration and enablement of ESG reporting assets
  • Drive and contribute to EPM thought leadership (incl. EPM component of external market survey)
  • Identify EPM network capability building needs and liaise with Learning & Knowledge Mgmt. Lead to fulfill (learning & awareness webinars, Source landscape/community needs)
  • Establish and maintain global EPM leaders community. Share assets, experience, collateral and credentials

Key accountabilities
% of time Accountability (100% total)

  • 5% FY'23 EPM plan and reporting and FY'24 planning
  • 15% EPM thought leadership
  • 10% EPM alignment to Connected/ KPMG Elevate/ ESG as enabling capability (map/val prop.)
  • 5% EPM vendor assessment
  • 10% EPM value driver trees, including financial and nonfinancial metrics
  • 25% EPM/ Plan to Perform TOM assets and ESG reporting assets
  • 20% EPM related learning/capability building and knowledge/Source needs and outcomes
  • 10% Community meetings and comms

Experience & knowledge

  • Progressive professional experience in EPM
  • Ability to lead and work independently, toward the development of strategies, paths, and tactical execution plans, while navigating input and direction from a diverse leadership group spanning multiple firms, cultures, and roles
  • Strong strategy, operations, and program management experience, designing and executing plans/initiatives, ensuring agreed milestones and deliverables are completed on time and within budget, all balanced with a flexible approach to accommodate the dynamics of a highly matrixed organization
  • Experience surrounding learning/capability building, knowledge management, and internal communications plans and execution

Technical skills, abilities & qualifications

  • Direct experience of working with clients in the EPM consulting space
  • Problem solving
  • Project, stakeholder management
  • Familiarity with collaboration platforms leveraged by KPMG
  • Familiarity with global solutions, priority initiatives (Connected Enterprise, Powered Enterprise, Trusted, KPMG IMPACT)
