Investment Manager opportunity within an established lower / mid-market private equity investor offering involvement in originating new investments, supporting MBO teams and leading buy & build growth strategies.

The Company

This established lower / mid-market Private Equity Investor has an unrivalled reputaiton for supporting ambitious SMEs with Growth Capital and backing MBO teams within established businesses.

The firm invests typically £3m - £10m including follow-on acquisitionfunds into ambitious SMEs operating within a several high-growth sectors including Business Services, Technology Solutions (B2B and B2C), Tech Manufacturing and Healthcare & Lifesciences.

The Opportunity

Joining the team at Investment Manager level you will be fully involved in originating new MBO and Growth Capital investments, supporting Management teams and executing M&A transactions as part of buy & build strategy.

You will have the opportunity to workclosely with Board Members and gain broad experience of business growth throughout the investment lifecycle.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

Identifying and evaluating new investment opportunities and supporting Investment Committee processes
Supporting Investment Managers and Directors in executing the firm's investment strategy
Working closely with Management Teams throughout MBO and Acquisition processes
Handling followon / bolton acquisitions, overseeing key aspects of transaction processes
Building effective working relationships with advisors, introducers and management teams

The Person
You will be a Corporate Finance or Investment professional able to demonstrate the following:

M&A / Lead Advisory experience on small or mid-market deals (c.£5m
£30m EV)
Background within either Top 4 / Top 10 or renowned independent M&A / Corporate Finance practice
Possibly professionally qualified (ACA or CFA)
A strong desire to work within lower / midmarket Private Equity and to be instrumental in the growth and success of entrepreneurial SME businesses operating within exciting, highgrowth sectors
