Assistant Management Accountant
Location - Rochdale
Salary - £28,000
Simpson Judge are working with a leading manufacturing group, with offices based in Rochdale. This is a permanent opportunity. This is the perfect opportunity for a someone who is looking for progression in their field. They offer free parking and study support.

Responsibilities include:

To assist the Management Accountant with all areas of the monthly management accounts.
Prepare accruals, prepayments and fixed assets for various income and expenditure lines.
Calculating costings for all new referrals.
Understanding calculation of care fees and maintaining accurate and up to date information within an Access database.

Person Specification:
Strong academics are essential as is the ability to talk confidently to individuals at all levels within the organisation. This role would suit an energetic and dynamic person who has a strong work ethic.

Key Credentials Required:

Qualified AAT or actively studying towards ACCA/CIMA qualification.
Exposure to a management accounts environment.
The ability to work independently and prepare high quality work.
The ability to grasp complex and abstract financial data and analyse this for modelling / reporting purposes.
Highly IT literate: Microsoft Excel
Advanced. Microsoft Access.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
This role will be busy and will require flexibility around working hours.
