Project Surveyor - Residential Developer

West London

Role:

Potensis Selection are currently working with a leading residential developer who are looking to enhance their commercial team by recruiting a Project Surveyor.

You will have the opportunity to work with 3 sites, on each you will be responsible for around 100 units.

The Project Surveyor will be a key component in overseeing the management of costs, the sourcing and subsequent management of sub-contractors and foreseeing any potential issues.

In addition, you will be:

Managing the procurement process of each new site.
Manage the cost control of the sites when they are in process, ensuring everything is running in line with the budget.
Establish and maintain key supplier relationships, procuring, tendering and appointing subcontractor packages.
Holding valuation meetings.
Produce financial performance review summaries.
Looking ahead and foreseeing any potential issues that may arise and resolving them.

Requirements:

This company is ideally looking for an existing Project Surveyor but they are also open to ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyors who are looking for a step up in their career.
It is essential that the person filling this role has experience with house building having ran at least 1 site.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
