About the Role and Person

  • 35 hours per week
  • Permanent

Whilst we have key responsibilities and these can be found in the job description, there are certain things we will need from you:

Customer care

  • Contact customers two days after moving into their new home to ensure the customer is satisfied with their property and the service provided.
  • To provide a central point of contact for all open defects related investigations.
  • To ensure all defects are monitored regularly to keep overdue defects at a minimum.
  • Effective coordination of all defect work across all developers.
  • To provide support with the complaints procedure to ensure target dates are met.
  • Support the Improvement of customer satisfaction.
  • To assist New Build Aftercare Coordinator
  • Manage empty properties that have been acquired for development, properties for disposal and new build property that has been handed over but not sold. Organise keys, security if appropriate, utilities, grass cutting etc, cleans and repairs.
  • Complete monthly void checks on new build Shared Ownership properties.
  • Ensure indepth knowledge of the operation of the properties on schemes prior to handover, building relations with site and customer care staff working for contractors and developers.
  • Introduce the customer to the property, explaining how it works pointing our key operational aspects e.g., heating controls etc. manage the customer's expectations, provide key contact information, and explain the resident manual.
  • Carry out customer Satisfaction calls to all new build customers.
  • Minor Post-Handover Works, working with the Development and Sales, manage minor posthandover works e.g., extra signage, maintaining site tidiness.
  • Knowledge and experience of construction (New Build) repairs and maintenance.
  • Previous experience with a repairs service.
  • Previous experience with Customer Contact Team.
  • A good working knowledge of MS Office and other specialist software packages as required by the business.
  • Experience in Social Housing Sector

Location


We're a keen promoter of agile working and encourage the use of working from home, as long as we meet our customer's needs.


We'll provide you with the equipment and software that you'll need for the purpose of your role however it will be your responsibility to have an appropriate space to work from as well as a suitable broadband connection/provider.


Salary


The spot salary for this post is £32,600 per annum for applicants who fully meet the requirements of the post.

Applicants, who do not meet all of the requirements of the post, will start 5% or 10% below the spot salary.

This post will also receive a car allowance of £1,250 per annum.
