Stores Person/FLT

Location:
Grantham

Working hours:
Monday - Thursday 7.45am - 3.45pm, Friday 7.45am pm

37.5 hours a week

Pay rate:
£11.99 per hour


Our client is a global manufacturing company, specialising in providing engineering solutions to an extensive list of high-profile automotive companies.

As a Stores Person / FLT, you will be responsible for Goods in and Stock management, loading and unloading vehicles and using a Forklift truck as required whilst ensuring health and safety is always maintained.


Responsibilities of the Stores Person / FLT:

  • Provide adequate stock of goods to support production
  • Raise and complete stock requisitions
  • Update computerised stock control system
  • Good communication skills
  • Maintain and clean and safe working environment
  • Loading and unloading materials from a variety of vehicles
  • Moving palletpacked materials around the site or storage facility
  • Checking loads are secure

The ideal Stores Person/FLT:


  • Previous experience as a Store Operator in a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Manual handling on a daily basis, training will be provided
  • Valid Forklift licence
  • Good communication skills
(verbal and written),

  • Computer literate
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Excellent attention to detail

Salary:
£11.99 per hour
