jaylineltd is a family owned and operated manufacturing company that specializes in the production of industrial and specialty steel products.

We are looking for experienced Forklift Operators to join our team.


Responsibilities:


  • Move materials or products by using forklifts.
  • Loading/unloading materials/products on/off of machines.
  • Palletizing materials/products.
  • Scanning/sorting material/product shipments.
  • Loading/unloading trucks.
  • Check loads against specifications to ensure accuracy.
  • Maintain safe work environment by following safety regulations.
  • Report any problems or issues to management.
  • Report inventory discrepancies to supervisors.
  • Complete inventory reports and record inventory changes.
  • Maintain warehouse records by recording shipments, inventory, and reports.
  • Participate in training and meetings.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor.

Experience:


  • Forklift experience preferred (required)
  • Minimum of High School Diploma or GED preferred; if not high school diploma or GED, then minimum of 2 years of mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Must be able to pass a preemployment drug screen test and physical exam including blood test for drugs and alcohol and background check.

Job Type:
Freelance


Salary:
£20.00-£22.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Kidsgrove: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (required)
  • CPCS (required)
