We are continuing to grow and are now widely integrated and embeddedwithin operations right across the Culina Group network.


We are currently seeking a professional and experienced Regional Assistant Management Accountant to strengthen the current IPS finance team, in supporting the wider business and achieving business and group objectives.

In this role you will support stakeholdersincluding the CEO, Regional Operations Director and Site General Managers, so building effective relationships will be key.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Arrange weekly P&L information by site in preparation for weekly performance reviews, including variance analysis to latest budget/forecast
  • Prepare weekly customer invoices, maintaining tight control versus production and declared revenue
  • Support credit control in ensuring prompt customer payment to terms including prompt turnaround of customer invoice queries
  • Preparation and reconciliation of SAP financial accounts to site P&Ls
  • Prepare and review monthly SAP position in order to meet monthly group reposting deadlines
  • Delivery of focused and effective site specific financial information to aid achievement of site budgets
  • Challenge site spending in a constructive and supportive manner
  • Monitor and improve quality and flow of purchase order requests from region to facilitate accurate financial records and prompt supplier payment

Qualifications

  • CIMA Part Qualified or AAT Qualified
  • Similar experience in a broad accounting role
  • Proven track record of supporting Senior Management in achievement of agreed budget targets
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to thrive in a handson role
  • Keen eye for detail with experience using Advanced Excel
  • An analytical mindset with an organised and selfmotivated approach
