Aspire People are an established education agency who are looking to recruit an experienced School Science Technician to work within a Secondary School in Leicester.

The position is 5 days a week on-going with the possibility of going permanent.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced School Science Technician to share their knowledge and expertise in order to help drive the science department forward.

Applicants must have a DBS issued within the last 12 months and signed up to the update service or be willing to pay £47.20 for a new DBS check that you can take to any education environment.

It is essential that you have relevant science technician experience and can carry out some of the following

duties:

  • Setting up and using the equipment accurately and safely
  • Take a proactive approach to work
  • Organised and knowledge of the relevant health and safety regulations
  • Able to manage the stock control of chemicals and equipment
  • Ensure that equipment is properly cleaned and that chemicals and other materials are appropriately stored

Once you register with Aspire People, then you will have your own consultant who can offer you career guidance and support throughout assignments.
