- Build good relationships and rapport with guests to make them feel comfortable and address any complaints they might have in a very courteous manner to protect the image of the hotel.
- Manages and keeps clear and comprehensive records of guest room bookings and all billings for accountability and future reference.
- Manages and maintains orderliness at the front desk by arranging documents accordingly and keeping the front desk area clean at all times.
- Attend to all routes of room bookings, such as online, phone, and in person, to ensure that reservations are attended to promptly.
- Report issues of maintenance and malfunctioning appliances to the manager for quick repair in order to ensure guests comfort and satisfaction.
- Experience in a similar hotel reception Supervisor/Management role within a hotel environment.
- Must have a warm and engaging personality to provide exceptional customer service.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance and quality.
- Involved in appraisals and reviews with all staff members to promote growth and development.
- MUST also have experience in Duty Management duties within hotels.
- Able to communicate at all levels and give clear direction to the team.
- Flexible to work various shifts to meet the demands of the business.
- Managing a small team to drive results and achieve goals.
- Good computer skills to efficiently manage tasks and systems.
