Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team at our Residential Care Home The Laundry Attendant will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and proper handling of all linens and garments.

This is a vital role in maintaining the high standards of our home and providing exceptional service to our guests.

Duties:

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, garments according to home standards
• Inspect items for stains, tears, or damage and report any issues to the line manager
• Operate laundry equipment such as washers and dryers efficiently
• Follow proper procedures for handling different types of fabrics and garments
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laundry area
  Experience:
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required
• Infection Control training
• Familiarity with laundry equipment and procedures is a plus
• Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
