The Opportunity

We are currently looking for one part time Tutor/Assessor working within our highly motivated and busy Apprenticeship team based in Birmingham.

They should have excellent organisational, administration and communication skills, be computer literate with relevant assessor/teaching qualifications or working towards and must be willing to travel in order to deliver training and assessment to apprentices out in the field

Key Responsibilities:

Delivering all aspects of the apprenticeship including functional skills, theory and practical training inline with the awarding organisation and T&G guidelines
Monitoring progress, carrying out reviews and developing individual learning plans with apprentices.
Auditing the health and safety in salons where apprentices are present
Taking part in quality systems, including auditing, and updating
Comply with all safeguarding policies and procedures

We'd love to meet someone with:

The relevant assessor and teaching qualifications
With a minimum one year's experience of training/assessing apprentices.
The competence to work without supervision
The experience and knowledge to deliver functional skills to apprentices
The ability to support apprentices in the achievement of their qualification
