Head of Sales

Sliderobes are looking for a passionate all-rounder to help us grow and develop our sales territories across North England.

If you have experience leading a sales team, implementing strategy and achieving targets and are passionate about service delivery, then this job is for you.

This exciting role will allow you to manage and lead from the front.

In return, we need you to have/be:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience leading a sales team and implementing strategy and achieving targets (and preferably in the Kitchens, Bedrooms & Bathroom (KBB) industry)
  • Evidence of driving team sales and managing budgets
  • Exceptional personal performance in delivering challenging objectives
  • Strong commercial and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Selfmotivated, driven, resultsorientated and proactive attitude
  • A comprehensive understanding of CRM systems and the processes that drive sales success
  • IT proficient
  • Full clean driver's licence

And preferably:


  • A design background
  • Previous experience of a CAD package
  • Experience in selling high end products to a discerning customer base

And this is what we need you to do:

  • Play an active part in shaping and delivering business strategy
  • Set sales and conversion rate targets for designers and actively review their performance
  • Meet with designers regularly on both an individual and team basis to share best practice and ensure a consistent approach in terms of agreed practices
  • Ensure that customer expectations are met on time and in full by effective management of business operations within North Englandindee including customer service & sales, production, fittings and aftersales
  • Ensure that designers and customer service teams are working well together and hitting target of appointments being converted to sales
  • Manage overall resource of production staff and fitters to ensure fit board is fully booked with installations and remedials
  • Strive for all jobs to be completed on a Right First Time basis and address any issues that impact on this to consistently improve, reduce costs and improve profits
  • Monitor and actively manage productivity, standards and quality control for all areas of responsibility
  • Ensure showroom is well presented and liaise with Head of Design regarding any required updates
  • Hold regular meetings with teams to instil a proactive, team based, continuous improvement culture
  • Recruit, train and develop the team by active coaching and mentoring
  • Travel as required

Salary:
From £40,000.00 per year
