Description

Blending and packing of dry powders.

• Ensure accuracy when dealing with weighing and mixing of ingredients
• Assisting with packing and dispatch of orders when required.
• Assist with the labeling of packaging.
• Ensure production areas and warehouse are clean and tidy at the close of business each day
• Undertake compulsory training required by the company to comply with any laws, regulations and accreditations. (GMP, Health & Safety, ISO 9001/22000
• Comply with all administration paperwork related to production
• Assist production manager in timely delivery on the production line.
• Assisting production coordinator and Purchase manager when required.
• Undertake any other reasonable requests or duties as required by the Production Manager/Company Directors
• Ensure that a safe working environment exists for all factory employees, drive standards of quality, food safety and hygiene ensure good practice in the factory
• Ensure adherence to all Health and safety policies of warehouse and production areas
• Comply with all requirements regarding PPE
• Follow reasonable instruction and Standard operating procedures (SOP)
• Responsible for the safe use and maintenance of operational machinery used in production following training.

Hours:
Monday to Friday 9 am-5 pm hours a week)

Start Date 11/03/24 or sooner.

• Own transport.
• Good Numeracy and Englishspeaking
• Forklift license (preferred but not essential) Industrial Counterbalance.
• Certified in operating pallet trucks, and stackers (Preferably)
• Available for weekend shifts as and when required.
• Must have previous warehouse experience and be physically fit as the job requires lifting of heavy goods
• Have good communication skills and display a good work ethic.
• Must be able to provide a work reference

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£12.50-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
