Multimedia Web Designer, Remote (UK)

£40k - £45k dependent on experience. Fully remote working with occasional visits to see the team.
The Multimedia Web Designer provides support in the development and maintenance of all aspects of Linnworks brands.

The Multimedia Web Designer is an integral part of the marketing team primarily responsible for all multimedia initiatives relating to Linnworks marketing creative across brand and marketing campaigns.


In this role you will:


  • Work collaboratively with the Marketing Team and other Linnworks teams across a variety of media.
  • Create original design for both brand activation as well as demand generation/lead gen optimization
  • Develop and produce multimedia and video initiatives including inhouse filming, recording and editing.
  • Ensure that all creative executions adhere to the Company's brand style guide and meet or exceed quality expectations. Participate and/or guide refresh of our brand guidelines. Collaborate with internal and external teams to develop the Company's brand system, tools and standard methodologies on creative assets
  • Manage external vendors against budget and scope to meet goals
  • Update website(s) by agreed upon time frame
  • Provide input in developing the brand following two organizations (and products) coming together as one
  • Resolve complex design issues with innovation and practical solutions.
  • Research and identify design trends and develop the most effective media for new and existing marketing campaigns along with Marketing Managers
  • Project manage the design workflow in Asana or other workflow tools, from conception to final delivery
  • Obsess about typography, imagery, the interplay between words and pictures, and how all of this tells a story appropriate to the brand and our products
  • Collaborate across the team and agency/contract talent to ensure the coherence of our endtoend brand experience

Required Experience

  • Minimum 5+ years of graphic design experience in an agency, design firm, or inhouse
  • Familiarity with technologydriven creative environments and understanding of global B2B2C or SaaS businesses
  • A mastering of typography, illustration, colour, shape and design
  • Expert use of Adobe CS (Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) and HTML

  • Synthesized complex design requests into masterfully stylized designs catered to target audiences and stakeholders
  • Strong organizational skills that manifest as unparalleled attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Translated ideas across multiple channels when necessary
  • Not only worked off of what's outlined in a creative brief but looked beyond it and problem solve independently
  • Developed creative ideas, concepts, campaigns and insights that drive prospects to react
  • Focus on team success and collaboration
