Description

The HMR Intermediate Tier Service is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dynamic Band 3 Therapy Assistant to work within The Intermediate Care facilities.

The teams provide patient focused assessment and treatment for people within the intermediate care facility with the intention of returning the patient to their own home.


The Therapy assistants will be supported by Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists to deliver assessments and treatments which aim to support patients in regaining their independence and facilitating a safe discharge home.

You will hold a UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle for work purposes. You will be expected to drive the Home in a Day vehicle to facilitate patient discharges.

You will need to be flexible, with good communication skills and enjoy working as part of a team.

The team strives to ensure we provide an efficient and quality service to our patients with a focus on team working.

You will be self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

The team is focused to continuous improvement and service development and the successful applicant would be keen to contribute to this process.

Flexible working required for weekend, bank holiday and evenings.
