Tradewind Recruitment Cardiff are looking for a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant or Teaching Assistant who has some SEN experience, to work with students on a 1-1 basis as well as the whole class in Blaenau Gwent.

This role will give you the opportunityto work closely and support students with a variety of SEN for example ASD, ADHD, Down Syndrome, etc.

It will allow you to aid them so they can achieve personal development.

Throughout your role, we offer a wide range of CPD Courses that will ensure you flourish in this role as well as provide an in-house TA School, prior to starting work, we've got your back

In this role you'll be required to:

prepare learning materials under the supervision of the teacher

- work inside or outside the classroom with individuals or groups
- adapt support according to needs
- look after children's physical, social and emotional welfare
- create a stimulating environment
- give information and help to teachers
- keep records and attend review meetings
- work with professionals such as speech and language therapists and physiotherapists
- provide a safe and healthy environment and follow safeguarding procedures
