Our lovely client school, based in Farnworth, Bolton are seeking a Year 2 Teacher with excellent knowledge of the KS1 curriculum to begin as soon as possible.

This role is part time, and would be for 2 days a week until February half term initially.


The successful applicant will have an important role in their students development in Key Stage 1 and the school are looking for somebody who would be committed to the role.

  • Have an excellent knowledge of the KS1 Curriculum
  • Be able to work effectively alongside a partner teacher, communicating effectively about children's progress and planning
  • Have the ability to engage children in learning inside and outside of the classroom
  • Be able to differentiate and adapt learning for different needs within the classroom
  • Use formative and summative assessment to fill in gaps in learning and ensure progression throughout the year
  • Create a warm, safe and supportive environment where children feel secure and happy
  • Be actively involved in the wider life of the school

To be successful in this Year 5 Teacher role you must:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status in the UK
  • Recent experience in Year 2 is desirable
  • Provide a CV covering full employment history covering any gaps
  • Provide professional references to support teaching experience
