    Description
    Job Title: Homeless Caseworker

    The Homeless Casework Service plays a vital role in supporting individuals who are homeless or living in temporary accommodation to secure sustainable housing.

    In this position, you will be part of the Resettlement Team, working collaboratively with partners to provide specialist housing and support pathways for single homeless applicants with complex needs.

    About the Role:
    • Provide exceptional customer service to homeless applicants and key partners, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
    • Deliver specialist homelessness casework to single applicants with complex support needs, adhering to legislation, strategies, policies, and initiatives at national, regional, and local levels.
    • Collaborate with internal and external partners to improve outcomes for single homeless applicants with complex needs and housing requirements.
    • Contribute to embedding safeguarding best practices across the Housing Advisory Service.
    • Support the development of the Homeless Casework Service and wider Housing Advisory Service.
    Requirements:
    • Proven experience in providing specialist homelessness casework to single homeless applicants with complex needs, including those leaving institutions like prisons and hospitals.
    • Experience working in a council or housing association environment.
    • Ability to work collaboratively to improve outcomes for single homeless applicants with complex needs, including those leaving institutions.
    • Excellent customer service skills, consistently delivering high-quality service to single homeless applicants with complex needs.
    Contract Details:

    Initial 3-month contract with the option to extend. Payroll (PAYE) via an Umbrella company. Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

    £30,000 - £40,000 per annum
