An exciting opportunity has arisen within the PE department for an enthusiastic, talented teacher to join the team as a Teacher of Girls' PE and assist the Head of the department.

The faculty is a vibrant and highly successful faculty.

The main duties and responsibilities of this post include:

  • Teaching all aspects of physical education
  • Responsible for level 2 BTEC tech award in sport Supporting PE MAGT students in school
  • Supporting the Head of department in the day to day running of the department
  • Developing and maintaining an uptodate knowledge of the curriculum
  • Using appropriate teaching and classroom strategies to motivate students and enable their progress
  • Contributing actively to the policies and aspirations of the school.
  • Contributing to extracurricular activities.
  • An ability to teach Physical Education
  • An ability to lead on the KS3 curriculum
  • An ability to lead on the Level 2 BTEC tech award course.
  • A desire to Supporting MAGT students in PE
  • The potential to be an outstanding teacher
  • Knowledge and understanding of the curriculum and pedagogy
  • Personal ambition and the capacity for hard work
