Intervl are supporting a client who are establishing a foothold within the EV space and are on the lookout for a Business Development Manager.


Working in the new housing development world, with a large existing customer base they are wanting someone to navigate these channels to generate new business for their EV charging side of the business.


With ambitions of breaking into other sectors, after having partnered with a well-known OEM with both AC and DC products.

It's a great opportunity to come into a business, and be influential in their growth.

What you'll be doing

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities in line with the companies growth plan
  • Review existing sale processes and develop new ones with a clear methodology
  • Develop sales team capability for new business acquisition
  • As the Business Development Manager, your mandate is to grow the company's UK market share
  • You will drive product and service roadmaps from launch, devise and implement marketing initiatives, develop strategies and collaborate with internal and external product partners to successfully message across all sales channels.
  • Working closely with legal teams to define and negotiate contracts.
  • Targeting domestic, workplace & fleet electrification opportunities.
What you'll need

  • Proven track record of generating new business and achieving revenue growth
  • Proven track record in management and motivation of sales and business development teams.
  • Expertise in strong interface and relationship building with external parties and senior internal stakeholders and in generating win/win situation
  • High degree of flexibility
  • Ambitious and targetfocused with a drive to succeed
  • Strong team working capability and ability to lead, motivate and energise colleagues
  • Significant bias for action and strong communication skills are essential
