Shift Supervisor


Reports to:
Operetion Manager


Fixed Term:
Full time positions available


Rota: 42.5 hours contract -however the need for flexibility is important

Additional time may be available.

Purpose of Job:

The person required for this role must be flexible as you will be required to cover holiday and sickness cover for all shifts.

You will work within the established management and supervisory team to achieve and maintain the quality and production standards for that shift.

You exercise best communication skills between yourself, your fellow supervisors and the staff under your control during that shift.

You will be ensuring, through the utilisation of best working practices, the optimum life of the circulating linen stocks

Training will be provided.

The shift supervisor recognises and understands the internal customer / supplier chain that exists with other departments and strives to work in harmony with them in order to satisfy customer requirements.

As a responsible SHIFT supervisor you are aware of hazards both existing and potential within the work place and you manage, train and educate new and existing staff in order to minimise the risk of accident or injury.

You are aware of current safety regulations, rules and guidelines, H&S and you keep yourself and your team updated in changes in safety law etc.

Job Types:
Full-time, Contract, Permanent

Part-time hours: 37.5 per week


Salary:
From £28,000.00 per year
