    We are currently recruiting for an IT Network Engineer to join our team in London.

    As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, management and ongoing maintenance of network and related technologies. You will work alongside the Senior Network Engineer and have a deep technical knowledge of core networking methodologies, Cisco technology stacks and unified communications.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Operational support and maintenance of network infrastructure
    • Design, implementation and project-related work streams
    • Collaboration with the Global Systems Team and Infrastructure group
    • Assistance with infrastructure/server support and patching out of other office core hours
    • Housekeeping and administration of systems according to firm policies and procedures

    Requirements:

    • Extensive experience of LAN network systems, protocols, and standards such as Ethernet, Token ring, OSPF, BGP, LACP, Trunking, VLANs, TCP/IP
    • Experience troubleshooting complex Hardware, software, and networks
    • Current network hardware experience - Cisco
    • Strong knowledge of network management and analysis tools like DNA and SolarWinds
    • ITIL-based support environment experience

    Work Environment:

    • Agile working environment split between the London office and home
    • 8am to 4pm early shift in place
    • 24/7 on-call rota in place

    The individual will work in our London office as part of the Global Systems Team. The role holder will need to be comfortable taking on this mixture of responsibilities, which will vary between design, implementation and operational tasks. They will also need to be able to raise risks, recommend improvements, contribute to strategy, build mandates and architect new solutions aligned to our overall Infrastructure strategy.
