This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a specialist curriculum team to support learners with SEND.

Working across Wakefield College and Castleford College, you will plan and deliver the extra support our learners need to achieve their individual learning goals and reach their true potential.


As a Curriculum Support Mentor, you will work with individual learners or small groups, (up to 5 students at a time) to motivate them to achieve their personal targets.

With support from college tutors, you will plan activities that will help these groups of students progress whilst at College.


You should hold GCSE A*- C / - 4 or Level 2 equivalent in English and maths and have an interest in supporting students within an educational environment.

In addition to understanding the Construction sector.

You should have excellent communication and organisational skills.
