The Role

We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team.

Duties/responsibilities include assisting with surgical procedures, monitoring anaesthetics, caring for inpatients, running nurse clinics, performing laboratory procedures, assisting with reception duties and dispensing repeat prescriptions.

About Us

We are a small, friendly 2 site practice. We have a solid and committed team and a loyal client base.

Equipment within the practice includes, digital x-ray, ultrasound, ECG, Class IV Laser, multi-parameter monitoring equipment, full range of Idexx in house lab equipment (Catalyst, Procyte, Sedivue).

Our sites are located in Clevedon and Winscombe, in North Somerset. Clevedon is known for its beautiful pier, and has been the backdrop for many films and TV shows. The practice is a short stroll from the pier and promenade .

Winscombe is a small village, nestled on the edge of the Mendip Hills, with open countryside, hills and woods surrounding.

The practice is in a quiet location within the village. The sites are approximately 13 miles apart.


Our team are committed to providing the best possible level of service to our clients and their pets and also to each other and the business.

We currently have 2 full time nurses, 2 part time nurses, 2 receptionist/ACAs and 1 PM. You will be joining a fantastic team who really look out for each other. The nurses are greatly respected and valued by us and by our clients.

Applicant Requirements


We are looking for confident and skilful nurses, who are strong team players, and happy to step into a variety of roles within the practice, including consulting.

Quality of care and service must be a high priority for you. We will consider all levels of experience, but you must be confident in working without supervision.
