A growing manufacturing business that is part of a larger global business is recruiting for Head of People & Culture to join their senior leadership team.

Reporting into the Chief People Officer with a dotted line to the MD this is a fantastic opportunity to lead and develop the HR team and to implement best practice.


Duties include:

  • Leading and shaping the work of the P&C team, ensuring the delivery of people management solutions.
  • Responsible for designing and implementing the HR policy in line with the existing global HR policy of the organisation and the strategic objectives of the local business.
  • Working with the global HR team to help shape the global group HR strategy across the business.
  • Actively lead on recruitment and retention, performance management, absence management, learning & development, employee engagement, organisational structure.
  • Responsible for developing and improving existing HR processes, HR systems and HR procedures.
  • Developing and coaching line managers.
  • Responsible for the HR budget for the organisation.
  • Leading on People plans and strategy, guiding the business in best practise.


To be considered you will be a commercial and strategic HR professional with a proven track record in a similar position.

Experience of working within a manufacturing or a similar type of environment would be desirable. This is a leadership position although at times you will need to be involved the operational HR. This is an exciting time to join this company who have a great working environment and culture.


Salary:
£70,000.00-£75,000.00 per year
