Description

RMS Are recruiting for a number of experienced and competent Drivers and Vehicle Inspectors who have a passion for prestige automotive manufacturing.

All applicants will need to pass an onsite drivers' assessment and a pre-employment drug and alcohol test to be considered for the role.

Location:
Based at Crewe

Key Responsibilities:

Performing safe vehicle movements in a multifaceted compound setting
Conducting Pre-Delivery Inspections in accordance with quality standards
Perform appropriate safety testing of vehicle settings
Vehicle fuelling and valeting
Documentation of all associated inspection paperwork

Essential:
All applicants hold a valid driver's license with less than 6 penalty points & no DR offences.

Education / Qualifications:

2 years professional driving experience
Experience working within a quality related function
Previous experience within the automotive industry would be advantageous as would any transferrable production experience

Pattern of Work:

The site operates on a 24 hour basis therefore the ability to work flexibly across a 3 shift rotation is essential.

Hours average 40 per week.

Rate of Pay:

Permanent Contract
Annual salary of £23,441.60 under an annualised hours contract

Flexible Contract

AM & PM are paid at £9.68 per hour and nights are paid at £11.18 per hour. Time and a half for hours worked over 40 hours Monday
Saturday & double time (if worked over 40 hours) on a Sunday).
