Operations Manager (Fencing & Landscaping - House build)**
Location: Eldersfield, Gloucestershire
Salary:
£36k - £42k + Company Car/Car Allowance + Bonus + 25 Days Holidays + Pension + Company Benefits

The Role:
An opportunity has arisen for an
Operations Manager to join our client's team in Gloucester. Working as an
Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing the performance and successful delivery of area-based teams. The role will include a number of operational requirements to ensure the safe, effective and consistent delivery of projects.
Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for general operational responsibilities including undertaking precontract site assessments.
- Be confident in client facing situations and be capable of resolving operational issues
- Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager.
- To coordinate teams according to contract specifications and workload.
- To monitor work progress and performance, taking prompt action when needed and reporting any irregularities
- To liaise and work with client officers at appropriate level to meet expectations in relation to completed / outstanding /additional work.
- Managing regional subcontractors, equipment, servicing, and costs.
- Maintain records of all tasks completed utilising the Job Management system.
- Actively create records of equipment failures, maintenance records and costs.
Knowledge/ Experience:
- Wide knowledge of all hard and soft landscaping activities including podium and roof garden projects and sales areas.
- To communicate effectively and confidently both on a onetoone basis and in groups.
- Adhere to HR processes and procedures.
- Ensure all HR matters are dealt with accordingly
- To understand the law relating to Health & Safety and understand and implement the company's Health & Safety policy ensuring the completion of Accident and near miss reports.
- To understand and implement risk assessments and COSSH.
- Manage according to budgets set by the company
- Full UK driving license.
