Thurston Childcare is looking for an experienced senior Business Manager to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity to oversee and be responsible for three well established provisions for children aged between 3months - 11years including a Baby unit, Preschool and Before and After School Club.

We are a committee run charity organisation located in Thurston near Bury St Edmunds. Our aim is to provide high quality childcare and an engaging working environment for all staff. You will be responsible for managing the settings and overall running of the business. You will therefore need to have a passion for ensuring that the childcare provision thrives across all settings. You will need to have experience in managing people, and be at least Level 3 qualified in Childcare.

What we are looking for:

• Full and relevant level 3 or above qualification as defined by Department of Education.
• Experience of participating with a regulatory inspection leading within either a "Good" or "Outstanding" outcome.

Confidence to make decisions considering the reputation and financial aspects.

Adaptable and able to quickly build trust and strong relationships with colleagues, parents and external partners.

Good management of people and experience of leading a team.

• Flexible approach to working hours. We are open 7.30am 6pm, 51 weeks of the year. We require the manager to work part time of up to 25 hours per week, in a flexible capacity.
