EAS Schoolwear (Emmanuel Academy Services) is the not-for-profit supplier of school uniforms to Emmanuel Schools Foundation Multi-Academy Trust, where everyone is Valued, Challenged, and Inspired.

Our schools have established and traditional uniform policies. We believe that our approach to student dress forms a very tangible link to our vision and ethos.

Ensuring our parents can buy their children good quality, school uniforms at a fair price means that our students:

  • Gain a sense of belonging
  • Are smart, tidy, and modestly dressed and so can learn safely and effectively.
  • Can establish an identity within the community and help build an excellent reputation for their school and their friends
  • Can avoid flaunting wealth, making others feel inferior and excluding others

Reporting to EAS Schoolwear General Manager, the Administrator will ensure high standards of customer service, product availability, presentation and accuracy are maintained at all times.

Working from our new distribution centre next to Gateshead Stadium, the post holder will process returns and refunds, answering telephone calls and organising weekly Click and Collect parcels ready to be distributed to each school.

The Administrator will promote and maintain a safe and friendly working environment and uphold the ethos and core virtues of Emmanuel School Foundation.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Process customer returns and refunds in a timely manner; correctly refunding items on our Shopify system, inspecting returned products to ensure all tags are present and organising returned items to be restocked in the warehouse.
  • Organise weekly Click and Collect parcels ensuring any incorrect or missing parcels are reported and investigated prior to shipment.
  • During busier periods, accurately pick, check and pack orders, reporting any errors to the EAS Leadership Team. Items must be handled and packed carefully to ensure orders remain secure and undamaged, and completed orders should be correctly labelled and placed into the correct areas for the selected distribution method.
  • Comply fully with GDPR standards by keeping order paperwork to a minimum, securely disposing it once it is no longer required, and keeping only the correct paperwork with to prevent risk of data breach.
  • Check labelling on all stock for accuracy, minimise picking errors/delays by ensuring items are placed in the correct storage areas, with similar items kept apart.
  • Keep the warehouse environment clean and tidy; maintain fire egress routes and keep aisles clear, correctly store equipment when not in use, and report any concerns to the EAS Leadership Team.
  • Ensure that all lifting and manoeuvring is carried out in accordance with manual handling procedures and agreed risk assessments.
  • Operate in a safe manner; make yourself aware of existing risk assessments, report any accidents and/or concerns, and comply with all health & safety requirements to maintain a safe working environment for everyone.
  • Proactively communicate with colleagues and the EAS Leadership Team on a daily basis to ensure continuity of service, maintain visibility/knowledge of ongoing issues and contribute to a collective team approach on all matters.
  • All EAS Schoolwear colleagues have a personal responsibility for maintaining a positive, supportive and friendly working environment, with any issues immediately brought to the attention of the EAS General Manager.
  • Any other reasonable requirement commensurate with the role that may be required and from time to time.
