Description

We are looking for a new Employee Relations Specialist with a passion for people and has strong HR advisor and employee relations experience to join our friendly and professional HR team.


You will work with the business to provide support and in some cases lead on more complex employee relations matters ensuring the coaching and upskilling of our people managers in the process.


The ER Specialist will also support in ensuring that Yeo Valley's 'people policies' are well maintained and that they align with Yeo Valley's purpose to 'nurture and nourish people and planet'.


  • Flexible working is available, however you will need to be on site at least 3 days a week.


This role involves travel to all of our sites, you will be based Highbridge, but you will be required to travel to Cannington, Crewkerne and Newton Abbot.


Key responsibilities include:


  • Leads more complex conduct or grievance investigations.
  • Acts as a 'gatekeeper' in relation to attendance management monitoring ensuring compliance with the policy and escalation of warnings as appropriate.
  • In line with Yeo Valley's Performance at Work Policy support and coach people managers where performance concerns have been identified, ensuring robust management performance improvement processes.
  • Support the Head of HR, to ensure that People Policies are both maintained, reflecting the most up to date legislative requirements, but also reviews availability and content ongoing to ensure that policies provide an appropriate framework and align to Yeo Valley's purpose to 'nurture and nourish people & planet'.
