MAINTENANCE OPERATIVE

Permanent, Full-Time (37.5 Hours per week)

A flexible working pattern will be between the hours of 6:00 am to 7:00 pm as per the needs of the business.

Salary:
£22,369-£23,620 per annum NJC Points 7-10

Wargrave House School is part of the newly named Remarkable Group; we have been established for over 50 years, providing the highest quality services for autistic children and young adults.

We are at an exciting time in our organisation's development as we move towards a new group structure.

We are looking to appoint a flexible and reliable Maintenance Operative who boasts a variety of maintenance skills and holds relevant health and safety qualifications.

You will be responsible for undertaking routine and ad-hoc maintenance duties throughout the site so a strong background and experience in these areas is essential.

You will also be a key holder and participate in a standby rota therefore you must be willing to attend to call outs at unsociable hours.

You will be available to lock and open the buildings when required.

The use of your own vehicle is necessary as you will be expected to travel to different sites to support our activities.

We are looking for someone who;
- has at least five years hands on experience of undertaking a variety of maintenance work and working with a variety of people including contractors, preferably in an educational environment.
- is a self-starter with the ability to prioritise your workload, meet deadlines and work unsupervised you will be able to forge positive relationships and have a strong commitment to high standards of service delivery and customer care.
