A friendly and professional accountancy firm on the outskirts of Newcastle city centre with easy car and public transport access are looking to appoint both an Audit and Accounts Senior to their growing team.

With 5 new appointments in the last 6 months all as a result of growth it is an exciting time to join the practice as they continue to enjoy new and interesting work from referrals.

You will be welcomed as part of the team from day one and find you willsettle easily in this inclusive team.

With a requirement to assist their experienced audit team as well as support the Partners with year end statutory accounting the role has the flexibility to accommodate those with either or accounts and audit skills and the portfolio of work can be tailoredaccordingly.

Similarly they could appoint two people, one in each specialism. This offers a great opportunity for those wishing to expand their current skills into broader general practice accounting duties.

Whether you are focusing on year end accounts or audit, you will have plenty of client interaction, involved in planning and leading on-site audit and feeding back to clients on their year end performances.

The Partners are very keen to share their knowledgeand experience and will happily nurture your technical and soft skills to help you elevate your position.

Applicants must be working in an accountancy firm with experience managing multiple clients and either audit or year-end accounting. Exposure to cloud based software is advantageous but can be trained.

The culture in the firm is very relaxed, there is flexible working and a genuinely nice atmosphere to work in.
