TechRadar Gaming (trg) is the ultimate source for game news, guides, and reviews.

Building on TechRadar's current expertise in hardware reviews, trg dives deep into gaming guides and insightful how-to content to help its audience get the most out of today's top games.

We're looking for a Deputy Editor with a keen interest and good knowledge of multiformat videogames and hardware to develop the team's skills and grow its catalogue of evergreen content.

You'll need experience managing SEO-targeted content and working at a senior level within a content team.

What you'll be doing

Reporting to the Editor-in-Chief of TechRadar Gaming, as Deputy Editor you'll be responsible for growing, maintaining, and enhancing the evergreen content output of the site.

This will require good working knowledge of SEO tools, including Google Analytics, and the ability to work independently and with our Audience Development team to identify opportunities for growth.

You'll develop a schedule of articles that need to be regularly updated, manage freelancers, sub-edit copy, and develop new and existing relationships with gaming studios and publishers to source exclusive content for TechRadar Gaming.

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve

SEO expertise and understanding of SEO best practices
A passion for and thorough understanding of gaming and hardware
Background in maintaining and developing evergreen content
Ability to use Google Analytics to report on and inform content strategies
Knowledge and experience of content management systems
